Well considering these age group in link are nowhere near one jab of uk vaccination program, there warnings from further a field, (then we are island nation). Another case of baby boomers applying the fabled "I'm alright jack".

You really are a sad bitter and twisted individual aren't you.

Firstly I think you'll find that the majority of people making these decisions are a bit younger. Us baby boomers are all getting on a bit now.

But regardless, the decision makers are fighting the variant that is prevalent in this country now. That variant is killing our elderly, our sick and yes our baby boomers, which is why most people your age have not been vaccinated yet. Not you though. You had yours before the majority of baby boomers. Are you alright Jack.

In addition, the decision makers are doing their best to keep these variants from South Africa and Brazil away from our shores and are doing a pretty good job so far, fingers crossed. This is to protect people of your generation

126,000 dead. Far and away the worst fatality record of any comparable country in Europe.

I'm not just asking you to not defend them, Ilm asking you to condemn them for their record of social murder.
It isn't murder Dave. It's a disease. They've made mistakes. Not just the politicians but the scientists and academics and the civil servants who run our government departments and NHS. Throw in the media and the unions and the nobheads that ignore restrictions. All culpable to poor management of this pandemic. But it isn't murder. You may be able to prove manslaughter but there would be thousands guilty if you want to go down that route.

Also my main reason for arguing with you is you are singling out England whilst implying everyone else is doing great

That's basically what I meant when I said manslaughter. There may be some with a case to answer when all this unwinds and the inquests are complete.
'weve moved on'
'not the right time'
'the public have had enough of it'
'people are tired of this'
'what good will it do'
'its just being politicised'
'we're just focussing on getting the country back on it's feet'
'there is no appetite for a lengthy and costly investigation'

There will be a full independent enquiry. Vault me.

You just cant hold Johnson and his gang responsible for what they've done.

Why that is, I cant imagine...

I can and have done countless times. All I am saying is that they aren't the ONLY ones at fault. Responsibility and cause/fault are 2 seperate things. And I refuse to call them murderers.

Not far and away. Italy will be past us before the end of the month. The new variant put us ahead of our European peers. Once they are through their latest wave I expect Italy, Spain, France and the U.K. will be pretty similar. The outlier is Germany. Also this is dependent on the classification criteria being consistent. If you were to take excess deaths Spain are worse than us according to ONS. So yep pretty much the whole of Europe screwed up like did

Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

Your problem is that when you say free pass, what you really mean is not prepared to call him a murderer.
He's then leader of this government and under his leadership we've seen the largest fatality rate in Europe per capita, which most scientists put down to locking down late on two occassions.

Will you please say that he is responsible for that?
