There has been for quite some time now, a drive-in testing centre in Rotherham, and it does not matter if you have the symptoms or not nor if you are a frontliner. This has been since about June last year.

Anyone who has gone though the vax process will know that unless there was a massive disruption to the norm, followed by a collective breakdown in behaviour and proceedure, know he is talking wham.

His post earlier was the most predictable one ever.
Excuse me, my account was on the money.

ld name the place in queation only I know that some people have a lower threshold of what's acceptable than others and I wouldn't want to put anyone off getting a jab. Thats just beeing responsible.

I'll PM you with the place if you wish, then Ild thank you to keep it to yourself.

No need mate. If what you witnessed was correct, the place will be closed down.

The sites, NHS or not, are approved vax sites, and are required by that licence to operate within the prescribed protocols.

I dont believe you, but that does not mean you are making it up.

I can tell you I waited 25 minutes for my jab, but you see I got there half an hour early and got it 5 minutes before my real appointment time. I still waited 25 mins:cool:

Does that make any sense?

If you're allwoing for me to be telling the truth here, then how can you not believe me?

Just got back after having mine.

Gnats piss.

It wasn't a great experience, it has to be said.

I didn't think the place was up to it; staff were vigilant, like: wiping down and making sure the people intent on having a chin cradle rather than a mask pulled up were instructed to wear their masks correctly. But the social distancing was appalling, IMO. A windowless room; entrance permanently open but the exit door swung open only when we were vaccinated and let out. As I counted, 60 people in that room at the one time and I was back to back with one feller, and I could easily reach out in front to touch the chair of two other people in front of me. I waited for 35 minutes for my shot. I rolled up earlier and I was allowed in 10 minutes before my appointment, which was no doubt leading to the large number of people in the room (which wasn't that big - certainly nowhere near gym-size). So the stewarding outside was the first line problem.

I think the volume they're trying to get through is compromising the system they have in that particular location - which I'll leave un-named as I dont want people not turning up on my account and missing their jabs.

Cant wait for the side effects.
I had mine a couple of weeks ago and there were problems at the centre too. If you were driving, which most were as it was out of town, they asked you to sit down for 10-15mins before leaving to make sure no adverse reactions etc. Social distancing, which had been great, went to pot when 1 of the 2 people signing people out left for a tea break without being replaced and folks quickly backed up right upto the actual vaccinators who were looking on in disbelief at what was happening. Shame as otherwise it was good.

Side affects for me were a bit of a temp and slight headache which started about 24hours after but were completely gone by morning.

Highly recommended and just get it done when it's your turn! I've queued for longer and had a worse experience queuing for a pie and a tea at Goodison on many occasion.

They should be asking people to come back nearer their time. That situation causes the glut.

As said, this appears to be more than anything a stewarding issue.

My opinion is still the same as yesterday, that Macron, De Croo, and the like chose to politicise the situation and tarnish the Oxford/AZ vaccine and the UK's speedy rollout, and I do think that the majority of the blame lies with them but I am sure that media comments from our politicians haven't helped matters.

I do suspect that there will be a splash of big pharma influence amidst the face-saving, too.

There are some quotes in the press today

Chief of Italy’s medicines regulator, Nicola Magrini, today claimed the sweeping bans across Europe were part of a politically driven snowball effect which had seen countries within the bloc come under pressure to follow suit.

Bonkers if true
