Hospital figures - 103 deaths were announced today, up 23 on yesterday and down 67 on last Tuesday. 101 deaths were in English hospitals, up 25 on yesterday and down 63 on last week. The 7 day rolling average falls to an even 134

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 110 deaths were announced today, up 46 on yesterday and down 121 on last Tuesday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 127.57

For the 60 day cut off, 231 deaths were announced today, up 136 on yesterday and down 149 on last Tuesday. The 7 day rolling average falls to an even 238
Big drop again. The average should be well below 100 by 12th April?

1,573,774 tests and lower than last week, in which it was 5,766 new cases and 231 new deaths. The drop is 52.4 percent.

24,839,906 first vaccine doses have been administered and 1,663,646 second doses.

Cases are often made up over tests done over the past 6 or 10 days, which is why seven day average comes in handy. About half the daily new cases were tested the day before in most instances.

594,400 active cases according to Worldometer, a decrease of 16,832 the day before.

Ive spoken to a LOT and I mean a LOT of people who have had the vaccine and not 1 of them had your experience or anything even close to it.

I find the fact you wont say the location the most telling, its almost like you know others would have been there and would expose your web of lies.

Anyway, glad you are now protected from death Dave.

Hope you thank Boris for the remaining years.
Not at all. That was my experience,

Many people are that grateful to get it they cant think straight and maybe dont take it in. .

It is incredible that we have the ability to perform 1.5m tests in a day considering we had essentially zero diagnostics infrastructure this time last year. It's hugely important that we maintain this infrastructure as best we can, even after COVID. Genuinely world-beating testing capability and everybody involved in making it happen deserves a huge amount of praise.

Thats astonishing. I had no idea.

But who are getting tested? Is it targeted or voluntary?

From what I can gather, it covers tests done in all settings - so that would include people who voluntarily go to a test centre if they have symptoms (or just want a test), or people who are required/encouraged to take lateral flow tests at their place of work.

If we can maintain this capacity it puts us in an excellent position to react quickly if we see a spike in positive cases, as well as being able to quickly identify new strains should they be able to circumnavigate the vaccines.

There is a test centre in my town, and I assume when the Covid 19 Test sign is out, its open.

But thats the extent of my interaction with testing!
