Of course. We’re employing 6 of them and will do so even when we close the pub (probably next week). A village is not like a street or part of a town. Everyone knows everyone and you really are in it together. I wouldn’t be able to look in the mirror if I didn’t help our village survive.....

I live in London, zone 3. The cafes, restaurants, pubs are all still full. Whole aisles of shops remain empty etc. Too many people just don't give a toss or don't think it is that serious.

We need enforced closures to put any kind of dent in this.

And it will spread very quickly from London. Give it a couple of weeks and Liverpool will have loads of cases.

I watched my local news, and they said Hampshire had the most cases and deaths so far ?
The BBC may well be wrong though.

Oh I'm not saying the rest of the UK won't get it badly - it will, though again the vast majority of people will be fine if they get it btw. This can't be stressed enough.

Just saying at this stage London is ahead of the rest of the country so I am surprised that isn't being locked down.

This is not political and quite honestly I think you are just trying to score cheap points. This school decision will have a fundamental effect upon the economy.....

The virus will have a bigger impact on the worlds economy then probably any other event in living memory.
It will kill people now reading this forum

Tens of thousands at a minimum are going to die here, with a huge social and economic cost that will result in further deaths in the years to come.
