There is nowt wrong in having a inquiring mind. I think we both do.

But there is also nothing wrong in researching (as best one can) into this strange world we are all now talking about, (vax/bio stuff), and realising the folk who know this stuff, are fine with all the vaccines coming on line.
I agree. But when those people start placing question marks against each other's solidly arrived at conclusions you begin to wonder who;s got it right.

I hope so too, but when a problem occurs then I'd much rather they look into what has happened (as indeed we are) rather than just saying "its because of Brexit".

With respect, point out one single post I have made along those lines.

I will save you the trouble, you would be wasting your time.

I have to say I was ok with the AZ jab, given that I was below the age limits where wobbling over the jab

There's been cases of blood clotting post vaccination (yes, as there have been for Pfizer, but the issues doesn;t seem to have been a particular one associated with it in its world wide role out).

If there is a problem then I’m sure the EMA will say so, and then European countries can decide what they wish to do. I really don’t mind any of them not having the AZ vaccine, but ffs I wish they would make their minds up and then shut up about it. They are causing absolute mayhem amongst those who are already frightened of having a vaccine, undermining a product that will be used around the world, and putting worry into the minds of those in Europe who have already had it....scandalous and irresponsible......

They are seeing a lower than normal blood clot cases, (I cant spell the proper word), seeing most(?) have had a jab, and wondering aloud if there is a causation. The makers of the jab have said unlikely, the WHO have said the same, but granted, no probs if they want to double check.

I know a fair few people who have had the Oxford vaccine and they aren't dead...yet.:)
They
If I turn it down I'd be hard pressed to get another slot in the near future.

You know what I'm saying. It's a gamble worth taking - and I find it easy to take that gamble given the odds...but there is no question these reports are unsettling. And it's pointless denying it.
I think it's fair enough that you feel a bit anxious seeing as though you are getting it soon.
If it is any reassurance, the instances of clotting are actually lower than would be expected in the general population if there wasn't mass vaccination going on.
Age and pre-existing conditions make clotting more likely and these are the demographic that have been vaccinated so far.

This is all getting a bit scewed.

Essentially what we know is a safety concern was raised by a non EU country. Various sovereign nations have taken the decision to pause its AZ roll out until it can be investigated.

What it has to do with the EU - I don’t know, they haven’t banned it. The EMA are going to investigate it and offer advice, which is the responsible thing to do.

I don’t see what any of the above has to do with the UK Vs EU to be honest, just a load of governments risk assessing and coming up with different decisions and approaches.

Not sure it’s good news for anyone this.

The yanks have swerved it when offered until their own results on it are in.

That is the cautious approach we should have seen here, only the murderer wanted a good news story to cover his arse over failing to shut down the country twice and causing tens of thousands of needless deaths. Yay for the 20 odd million vaccinated though.
The vaccine has already saved thousands of lives.

Ilve never had a reaction to a vaccine before, and Ilm not expecting one with this (beyond the usual ones AZ have held their hands up to).

Have you had a flu jab before. If yes, you will probably be fine, if no you ‘may’ feel like crap the day after and your arm ’may’ hurt.....it’s a rite of passage.......

It is the opposite of that, pete. If there is a problem with a vaccine (or indeed any medication or treatment), they've got to find out what it is and either prove or disprove it as soon as possible and then if required make any necessary changes. If they'd just let this continue on with those questions still unanswered, then we really would have a product undermined every time someone died after being jabbed.

Apparently Covid can cause blood clots....

I'm not sure how related this is but when I was in hospital and for around 7 days after I got home I was injecting a blood thinner to avoid blood clots (can't remember the name of it ) so it was definitely something they were aware of and associated with Covid. So I think it would be interesting to see when the people who have sadly passed away got the vaccine and if they had any issues previously (in hospital with covid previously or no symptons/illness beforehand)
