When all this is over, it just won’t be a huge celebration of freedoms returning, it will be for me a celebration but also an emotional moment what with all those who have died.

I’m looking forward to seeing my friends again, I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at work again and I haven’t seen them in the flesh since March; seeing your friends on a Teams/Zoom app is not living and to me just feels like a lifeline to keep sanity intact, but it can only last so long.

I haven’t been in a pub/restaurant since the first lockdown last year and was only just starting to frequent a different pub by then, while getting to know the staff and the regulars well. I just do not feel safe enough to go to a pub during these times, especially when they reopened last year, I walked past the pub and saw the regulars I know sitting next to each other not keeping two metres apart, they were people who all didn’t live in the same home, as I already knew them well enough by the time I last saw them before the lockdown.

When everything reopens and distancing ends on the 21st June, then I’ll feel safe as long as the figures I post every day look good enough to make me feel so.

So yes, when all this is over, it will be one huge emotional reunion with all the people I have missed so much, because I have not seen them for ages as well as the fact people have died and families / friends have been grieving.

My second jab is on the 31st March and it will be one emotional moment.

Absolutely ridiculous, this being in Hastings only proves my point further about the newest pub I frequent, in which regulars who don’t live together were not sitting apart.

Utterly irresponsible behaviour and the police didn’t even fine them.

When I take my walks for exercise, I pass through here. Thank God I decided to stay in and watch Netflix, as if I seen this while on my way, I would have gone fúcking mad and lost it even more so.

It’s like they’re doing it on purpose to wind people up and the police. It’s just so unnecessary and random to pick that as a thing to meet up and do. I bet it was a Facebook event thing to get all those people together.

I've not seen family members in a year. I have sacrificed my liberty along with those who have obeyed the rules for safety's sake and in order to help the challenge faced by the NHS. I cannot wait for it to be over and will have a clear conscience that I did my best not to put others in harm's way. I'll enjoy the summer and seeing those that I have not in such a long time that I am sure this will all seem like a bad dream. I will be raising many drinks to wish Covid nothing but the very worst of luck for the future

Well apparently the over 40’s category was a mistake (should have changed to over 50’s). Crashed the system. Been restored to over 50’s only but any lucky over 40’s are having their bookings honoured apparently.

Hopefully, its a really good vaccine, my concern would be manufacturing as opposed to the science.
