I see Germany has again stopped using the AZ using the blood clot as the reason. Who have stated that a total of over 300 million jabs have been given with no reported deaths or issues related to any of them......looks like a few more million doses will become available to the U.K. .....

If it is the same as when I had mine you will be asked if you have any concerns over the vaccine or the vaccination process. I'd be really interested to know what they say when you tell them about AZ not reporting evidence of side effects, the AZ virus not working effectively and the poor condition of some of the vaccination centres.
I have only one thing to say tomorrow when I attend:

"Fill this up with gnats piss or I'll wait for the Moderna".

It is sad that EU states seem to be continuing to politicise the situation. Prof Macron and co have most certainly stoked fears without any clear justification.

not really “politicise the situation” though, is it?

there are people who’ve had bad / fatal reactions after the jab and any government wouldn’t be doing its job if it didn’t ask why. I mean, if this was the Sputnik jab involved would anyone be lining up to defend it on here?

You are welcome to your opinion but out of interest do you really think that Macron, for example, was right to make statements as he did?

Depends if 11 million of us had already had it and with no bad/fatal reactions......

But the EMA and WHO have said its fine. Infact, across Europe, there have been fewer blood clot issues than normal this year.

France will be next to put the boot in, either tonight or tomorrow. This is becoming more commercial than medical. There is a lot of money to be made with the Pfizer vaccine, unlike the AZ which is basically being given away, and politically there is no way they want the U.K. to be seen in a good light by the RoW. So as AZ have just put another hold on EU supplies, they might as well use the time to give it a political kicking......

they are waiting to see what the EMA says tomorrow in light of these reports, they’ve not yet said it’s fine to use after examining what happened

Hmmm. Very much doubt that's the case. EU is preparing to approve and manufacture Sputnik. If it is political (still not fully convinced it is), I would say it's just an escalating tit for tat between the EU and AZ. But I'm still more inclined to agree with Tsubaki at this stage.
