Its not even close to 80,000.

At the time of writing this article in March, Public Health England told Full Fact it estimated that on average 17,000 people have died from the flu in England annually between 2014/15 and 2018/19 - with the yearly deaths varying widely from a high of 28,330 in 2014/15 to a low of 1,692 in 2018/19.

In June, Public Health England published updated figures, which showed a total of 3,966 flu deaths in 2018/19. The new figures, which include changes in other years, put the average at around 15,000 deaths each flu season in this period.

So the worst flu year we had 28,000 deaths.

In 12 months of Covid we have had 124,000.

Which works out at around 4 really bad years of flu in a year or roughly around 10 years of "average" flu years, in 12months.

Im honestly trying not to engage with this total moron, but his misinformation is dangerous and misinformation costs lives, there's a place in hell for the kind of people who spread lies in wartime.

Come on Goat. We know there have only been 400 deaths once you exclude the obese. There are 12 billion people in the UK and so the mortality rate is only 0.3%. When you factor in the 5 billion that have died because of the vaccine it's clear this is all a huge fraud. I also don't think you're factoring in the 7 dwarves who caught flu during the 12 days of Christmas which no one has ever talked about

According to Worldometer, 74,417 people recovered yesterday, giving us a current total of 820,037 active cases in the UK.
So there are 1 in 80 people with Covid19 in the UK...and the schools have just reopened and that will see the ratio narrow to about 1 in 75 people in the next few weeks.

This is no basis for reopening anything on.

Vallance on the impact of schools going back.

He says "the impact on transmission could be an increase in transmission of between 10% and 15%."

Thanks. I didn't realise they gave advice on dos and donts.
I went Sunday ,Davek they sit you down while putting in your details just before the jab, the nurse goes throughout a few things possible side affects ect and they give you a leaflet with loads of info , numbers to call if anything unusual happens.
Told me as I have just had covid, you cant have the jab till 28 days after showing symptoms In my case i made it by a few days,
Said i was something like 3 times more likely to get some reaction ,
I just said it's not going to happen, she burst out laughing and said I like it mind over matter.
The jab was the same as the flu jab .no pain just a small prick.
In my case I got a slight twinge were the needle went in the day after nothing to worry about ,and for an hour or two felt a bit cold but I had been outside for ages so not sure if that was a result of the jab.
Still getting fatigued after the covid but have been told it could be 12 weeks to get back to normal.
On a plus point my anti body count is supposed to be higher than normal people as my body has fought the virus and now been boosted by the vaccine.
My girlfriend had the jab same time as myself , hasnt had the virus and had no symptoms other than a sore arm .
Get it mate.

You do realise that they are fully aware of this and they know that the transmission will increase slightly?

Looking at the current numbers a 10% increase would still result in a decline anyway as the week on week decline at the moment is higher than 10%.

Actual flu is a lot worse than a bit of a fever for 6 hours.
Very true. Flu can be a very nasty desease. Must never be equated to or confused with a heavy cold.
It should never be a big problem for the health services if people took up the annually available vaccination.
