Seriously there is 100% no need for this story, and to make the scaremongering headline the way they did is just wreckless. I don't know much about what is and is not a good source in UK but some of the media need a good kicking.

It’s also good news that I read on Twitter (from a scientist) that it can easily be dealt with by the vaccines and will not affect our map out of lockdown.

One of the England based cases cannot be located because they did not fill out their locator form.

They have been absolutely atrocious all the way though this, all they do is scaremonger and give people’s mental health a right battering.

It shouldn’t be all allowed and once again they have gotten away with being disgusting yet again with this article.

I reckon I might have it as reading that I am seeing double!

I just gave you a perferctly adequate answer...then you posed the same question for me to answer again.

Ok, once again: the UK approach was both different (emphaisis on one jab rather than elsewhere with two) and a reckless gamble. In the fullness of time we;lll see whether that gamble paid off.

In the meantimne we do have ther evidence on performance in keeping the UK population safe under the Covid19 period:

THE UK TORY RUN GOVERNMENT HAS PRESIDED OVER THE WORST PER CAPITA FATALITY RATE IN THE WORLD.
It wasn't a reckless gamble.

Giving twice as many 60% plus immunity (over 90% protection from serious illness) will save lives.

The greater the proportion of people vaccinated the safer we all are.

I agree with most your anti Tory sentiment but the vaccine decision (which was probably beyond Boris's critical thinking skills and not his idea) was a sensible decision.

It's also quite anti Tory. Protection for the many, not the few

Deaths per million of population: the UK is the biggest nation with a sizeable population for fatalities. Bigger than Italy, bigger than the USA.

And please dont try and get that stuff abaout 'poor initial reatcion to the crisis' in under the radar. That lot left th country exposed (again) no more than 3 months ago in October through December

This is an appalling record. The only way they've got away with the political fall out from this is because the LP are led by an utter 'kin coward.

So still no word of thanks for all of those who are leading the way in vaccinations.....

It's reckless given that no one will have legal recourse if they experience side effects. It was reckless because the data wan't there from trialling amongst certain age groups.

Over and above all that though (even if it were something that should be credited to them, which it's not) the urgent necessity for those vaccines is because of the unmitigated disaster of this government's policy on locking down late and haphazardly.

Using the vax on the over 65s was reckless?

Really? Your scientific knowledge obviously trumps everyone else who develop and tweek vaccines all the time, and every year.

At least be honest, you cannot say a single word of praise for the vaccination rollout because the Tories are running the country. If it were Labour (Corbyn) with the same results you would be wetting yourself with excitement......It’s a pointless debate not because of the results of the vaccine programme but because of the colour of the government......
