Lots of experts coming out in the media saying it's fine and a good vaccine. I think the initial lack of confidence was mainly down to the likes of Macron and that Handelsblatt newspaper. Also, in Germany it's only allowed for under-65s and they've only just started offering appointments to the 70-80 age group now. Only just got through the over 80s.


The EU gave it the exact same approval that the UK did.

Our media can no longer blame immigrants for everything. Brexit is done but the new witch hunt is AZ vaccine.

These stories are hyped up to try and make out the likes of Germany have it in for the UK.

Vaccinations slowing a bit - Hope it's just a blip

I suspect we're using it more quickly than it can be supplied. As long as they can keep supplies coming as planned there shouldn't be an issue

And we've got a load of Moderna to come next month or in April, plus J&J and Novavax might not be far off.

I'm still due my first jab sometime in May/June, at 26 and no underlying conditions.

Am very surprised the scum media have made a scare story about the vaccine supply chain. We all known it will all be fine in March onwards.

Won't a lot of it be them keeping vaccines for people that are about to receive their 2nd dose as they started in December?

They need to allocate those supplies for 2nd doses so it will eat in to availability for 1st doses I imagine.

Yes, Whitty said come the start of March that it will really start to have an impact on the rate of 'new' doses.

That, however, will be offset by more doses getting shipped in and also the new ones coming too.
