I share your concern of a too fast move to Normal. I dont share your concern that SD will collapse. But again, once the vast majority of folk have stuff in them that will train their immune systems, the dangers of catching Covid will be hugely reduced. Hence the time lines of a minimum of 5 weeks between changes.

3 months time, people will be here saying that the rules aren't being observed and the irresponsibility is threatening another surrge...and they'l be right, and we'll be back where we were going into late autumn just gone.

There is no way we wont be back in massive trouble next winter. No way. We dont have the people or the people in charge to end this well.

Prevention is much better, cheaper, less damaging, more effective and kills less people than the cure does. Please, if you understand one thing from this pandemic, understand that.

What I understand from that is that we'd be better off in South Korea. But we're not, we're in England and we're a very different nation with a very different culture so the problem is going to be different and the solution is going to be different.

Giving as many people as possible a vaccine is our prevention. Those that are more vulnerable can continue to shield themselves and wear a mask while those that are less vulnerable can crack on as normal. Surely you can understand that.

You're wasting your time mate. Vaccines are the only game in time...despite the people who make vaccines telling them it isn't and it's just a weapon in the fight.
