I've read this from you before. I'm not sure what the scientific basis for it is. Westerners have different physiology to orientals because of exposure to virus? Is this proven?

The biggest difference is that they organise themselves better than we do. They act in unison and they act decisively. The individual is NOT king there. And that's the way we should be.

You think India as a population is more disciplined or organises itself better? Recently they’ve had less cases on average per day than we have even in week 7 of our lockdown. There clearly are other factors at play and related herd immunity is a proposed theory.

No, you are confusing two points I made. The first was just a musing, that if Asian countries had more exposure to CV type viruses, are their immune systems stronger against them. No idea, but the logic is there, if the science isnt. Think Europeans travelling the globe a few hundred years ago and wiping out local populations with the common cold.

The second was just reiterating the science that immune systems are inherently lazy. They need training to repulse new viruses, then reminders, hence the flu boost every year. This vax roll out is the first step to protect the body in the here and now, but more importantly, to introduce it into the immune system so in future it just needs a flu like boost to give it a reminder.

That's an unfounded theory...and one amongst a number. There is no data to back that up.

That's fair enough as a musing, yeah. We're all trying to understand this and explain various aspects as best we can.

As you periodically remind me, there's no room for passing anything like that off as expert understanding or advice.

It`s not a question of supporting any government, Northern Irish, Welsh, English or anyone else.

It`s about you, yet again trying to pass off blatant conjecture and lies as fact, all to suit your hysterical agenda.

The trick is, knowing when to stop digging.

You really have become a parody account.

Ffs, you were that desperate to back up your lunacy, you posted an article from the Mail the other day lol
Hang on, are you saying that the @davek account isn't a chico character?

Thats how it starts, this science stuff.

"What happened there ffs?"

"Dunno, proper odd, could be X Y or Z though"

Remember back to when Aids/HIV reared its head? They saw a new thing, fiddled about in labs till they knew what caused it, then delivered proceedures and treatments. Data comes later.

The old way:

The new way forward..

I’m not sure we are ready for al fresco Darts matches......

To your credit, it was once, and as I fully expected, you got the gist of it, and not an issue since. Xx

The theory there seems to be that a country regularly exposed to diseases have a population with immune systems ready to fight off virus like Covid19.

Wouldn't that be the same in Brazil therefore, a place that has a long record of ill health caused by diseases that attack the immune system?

Quoits might make a big comeback.
