I'd rather leave that to the experts. The fact is that the UK is ranked second on the Global Health Security Index, and ranked as best prepared to deal with a pandemic like this one. So I trust that our personnel know what they're doing.

What, Tories being parsimonious towards the NHS, and being damnably incompetent with regards to health considerations in case of a pandemic - who'd have thought it.

Had an appointment to pick up my new reading glasses from Boots in the town centre. Phoned to say 'I am in lockdown'. I said that I could drive down and park in their delivery yard, then they could pop them through my rear window. 'No problem' they said. Gave them my reg no and am picking them up this afternoon. Am going to suggest the same to my Chemist for picking up prescriptions.

That's the thing mate, life can go on if we're all sensible about how we go about doing things.

The offies are locked down now here. But we spent the last 10 days quietly squirrelling Duvel, Westmalle and Omer, 2 bottles of whisky and 2 of genever.

Even with the buying restrictions in the supermarket we can keep stocks.

I haven't eaten in 2 days but it was worth it.

However the number of victims in China was much lower proportionately than other parts of the world which may be explained by a higher level of immunity.....hesitate to use the word, but this is an example of "herd immunity " if it is true.
