To be honest [Poor language removed] like you should be charged with murder.

Its just wilful disregard for human life.

No it’s not. If the economy collapses, everything else does as well. My daughter and granddaughter live with me and my wife. My daughter will probably work from home anyway and having my granddaughter around all day is no hardship. We have no financial worries, no one has to work. So school open or closed is no real issue to us. But there are many in our village who have to work to feed themselves and having the kids at home will stop them from doing so.....

How many lives will be lost due to obesity as a result of not exercising?

I've tried to exercise whilst in isolation but it is pretty much impossible as there's only so much you can do. You certainly can't go for a run lol

Can't get fat if you haven't any food in the cupboards due to the hoarders.

Johnson is going to do it isn't he?

I get the feeling governments across the world are putting in place practices etc as a means of preparing the populace for modern warfare (eg. Economic, electronic, power etc), and seeing how they react and whats required to maintain a level of order.

All this social distancing, hand washing etc because of this virus is no different to the advice provided in regards to many other diseases, viruses, illnesses.

I've not read anything yet about what makes covid-19 any more dangerous than other viruses, other than there currently being no vaccine. As stated by WHO, no vaccine is 100% effective, therefore once a vaccine is developed its not even certain it's going to assist those it most likely needs to, the elderly.

Lol

And to a certain extent she is one of the lucky ones who got it early enough to get an ICU bed. I've got COPD and I'm worried. My wife works for the NHS and can't work from home, my youngest daughter is still at school and my oldest daughter is back from Uni next week. All three of them know that they could cause me to get the virus. If I do then I don't fancy my chances. @bignev23 you are a fool.

My dad has COPD too. Fortunately it's been over 10 years since he's had problems and he doesn't smoke or drink (anymore - hasn't in nearly 13 years now) and stays healthy by cycling or going to the gym every day. However, he is in his sixties and does have the historical issue so there is a bit of worry. I'm sure he'll be fine though and we're taking the right precautions. My sister has asthma so there's that too.

Reserves might be mobilised in the role of "aid to the civil power" IE under the direction of civilians. There will be no throwing lefties out of helicopters over the Irish sea.
