They can all start by taking massive wage cuts.

Everybody is cancelling their Sky sports subscriptions and with no televised live sport how long before their advertising revenue also dries up. It's only a matter of time before they suspend payments to the various football leagues. Same with BT sports.

To be fair most of them seem to be pumping it back in to getting new staff in and overtime to cope with the demand and extra deliveries.

My dad is in full time care with dementia and his care home has just been locked down. Means he's going to be even more confused. They said they can facetime occasionally. He's blind and it will confuse the hell out of him. Heartbreaking that so many families will have to deal with this.

Yes, but in 6 months time, no one will be shopping because they already bought 12 months worth of groceries.

No you don’t have to believe every word out of the Chinese government, and based on past history skepticism is good approach, but equally to say “we’ve seen the damage that the second wave is having in Wuhan” as you did don’t you have to actually have some evidence of damage? What is your evidence of a 2nd wave?

If there was a widespread 2nd wave I don’t see how they could hide it, especially as it would be grossly counterproductive to getting it under control.

Nothing will make Wuhan special in comparison to the previous 4 mentioned nations.

I have friends in Hubei Province and the scene that they are painting of both Wuhan and Hubei isn't nice. You'd have to be a bit 'special' to take what the Chinese authorities say as fact.

Tescos have taken out full page "adverts" to explain what they are doing and asking folk to actually buy less. Strange days.

Actually, thats a point. If you were say a car company, why would you bother advertising anything at the moment? Could be quite a problem for commercial TV and radio if their ad traffic slows down.
