My son took his Mum to get her vaccination and they had some spares so he got his, super fit lad and it's floored him for the last four days, bit of a lottery as to how it might effect you.
Where was that?

My Mrs is booked in next week as she works in a pharmacy. I'm a teacher and would feel a lot better going back on the 8th if I've had a jab. Social distancing is impossible in a classroom. Plus you are in an enclosed space (albeit with windows open) with up to thirty kids for an hour at a time.

I honestly thought the teachers would be bumped up the list for their 1st vaccine and receive it early Feb in time for the potential return in March.

I've heard an idea from a couple of people I know in the NHS that a strong response to the vaccine could be that the person has previously had covid

What is it with Conservative ?RG pressure groups that are hell bent on killing us or making us poor. I particularly find this part funny:

The CRG said lockdowns have caused "immense social and health damage and have a huge impact on people's livelihoods".

They've got a bloody nerve.
That statement is true though?

Demand for mental health services is at an all time high.

As said...

They are utter scum who belong in prison.

He does get checked regularly at work and has always been negative ? So much still to discover about the virus and the vaccine.

Very much this especially with so many not willing to get the vaccine
Much as the inner davek in me would like to round them up, give them a good slapping for being silly - then inject them.
It's their prerogative, for whatever reason or belief system to be stupid...as long as they're willing to put up with the inconvenience of not having full access to places and services they took for granted before.

Anywhere the public will use or gather Post Covid...Football Grounds, Pubs, Restaurants, Airlines, all public transport, will...and it may be backed up in law...if it isn't already, will probably, in simple terms say, no vaxx - no entry
Pre Covid there were plenty of Child Care facilities that won't let your kid in without all the standard Vaccinations, for the protection of others.
This same principle will apply - and will be enforceable.

There's a table out there that shows Countries whose population will or won't have the vaccine if offered.
Some...shall we say...you'd think would know better.
Vietnam 98% in favour
France bolshie as ever 48% won't

Ormskirk don't know if that's where they were vaccinated, think there is a centre in Skelmersdale. Apparently if you get a late appointment whoever is with you is offered the vaccine if it looks like they'll have any left from no shows.

So has brexit mate. And covid is masking the full consequences of that decision.

The choice of just letting it run wild was not a choice any sensible government should or could take either. Look at how many have died from Christmas to now. How many would have if it was just BAU?
