I see the USA is not on the 'red list' of countries subject to quarantine rules. I'm sure there's a reasonable rationale behind this, but must admit I'm struggling to find it.
Find it bonkers myself and I live in the US! Would love to visit my uncle in UK and parents in Spain but even if allowed to travel am not going to risk their health by doing so.

Cos I am pretty sure some on here were calling it a lie/con, until said facts changed.
I didn't take it seriously, I think maybe in part to being numb from media hyperbole for years, but the leader of a country with access to expert advice and analysis who is supposed to be a geo-political expert really should be held to a higher critique than a whopper like me on the internet, and johnsons casual starting block position for this crisis would be a sacking offense in most trades

No I didn't. I stated it was a scare story based on little more than the same evidence we'd seen with SARS and Avian Flu. When the facts changed then I changed...quickly.
I love the way you constantly dont want to defend Johnson...but then do so at every available point.
