Hopefully not, but then I was expecting the deaths to be lower than yesterday. Cases are below 40,000 again which is I guess is a small crumb of comfort as it continues the downward trend cases wise. It’ll be a couple of weeks before deaths reflect the trend, however they still will be high in the grand scheme of things

Nobody should be able to leave the house, I've just been for my daily walk, the roads are as busy as normal.
Lock everything down, my wife is going to work, my daughter is going to work, my son is working in others peoples homes, daily, my Grandson goes to nursery.

40,000 a week are getting infected now. This means that we're probably going to move back towards 1000 deaths a day in a week or two.
Mid February we might be below 800 a day.

The government have made these decisions. The COVID is in their bodies and its only a matter of time now unfortunately.
Shut all coffee shops, get more businesses closed and grants extended. Make vaccines mandatory for ALL NHS and carehome staff. Get it done now to reduce deaths in March and April.
No. Because the new cases are getting to around half what they were 8-10 days a go.. another week will see a significant drop in the 'deaths' too...
People who can work from home are working from home
Shops are shut
Pubs are shut
Schools are shut
Any form of entertainment which might take away the crushing realisation that our lives are all ruined is shut
Either people are infecting each other by going to people's houses or they aren't telling us something
Exactly.. lol lol
I can only tell you what I know mate, out of everybody I know, family, friends, only 3 people are currently working from home, the other 20 or so people are going to work, every day and less than half work in industries I personally consider "essential".
Its a complete farce and nothing like the proper lockdown we had in March last year.
Yeah great. Then my household would have no income at all. Genius. I'm tested weekly at work. The missus hasn't left the house with the kids since lockdown began. Some people are actually trying.
Fair enough Goat - but it isn't those people that are dying
Are they somehow infecting vulnerable people after they've been in work? Just cannot get my head around this
