If your Mum had went with an organised group to incite, she would rightfully be fined; if she'd be unwilling to provide details, the only option is to arrest.

The intelligence and evidence behind the whole saga is not of one small group idyllically walking along, but rather numerous small but organised groups in contact.

They went in groups, regularly meeting up and in patterns that regularly engaged local policing patrols. Yeah, to stop the Abwehr!

How do you know that these were organised groups and were there to incite?

Are you saying that if my mum bumped into somebody she knows during her exercise (certainly not beyond the realms of possibility) she then becomes part of an organised group? should she be scared to talk to her friends outside if she does? and also being in her eighties she may need to sit down during her exercise.......is this now a crime?

Cambridge University have said the R rate in London is now 0.6. I'm confused I thought the super variant adds between 0.4 - 0.5 to the R rate?

Something doesn't seem to be adding up here? Is the special feature of the super variant purely that it was present in tier 2 London and Kent?

Many coronavirus and like influenza become more transmissible in winter months... Have not read or heard one professional define how the British variant is more transmissible, they churn out 70% but don't clarify. Reading papers it's based on lots of could be and maybes. We know the Sun and UV basically sanitises so maybe a factor with COVID.

The 70% was a complete fabrication mate. They made it up based on the numbers jumping quite a lot in Kent/London but the numbers increaser massively as they were in tier 2.

Look at the increase in Liverpool City Region over the past 3 weeks. Its exploded and this 'variant' isn't even present here.

Ok to rephrase 'the variant is far from the dominant strain in Liverpool'. There are probably some cases.

Anyway the strain is tory propaganda and is a complete fabrication to hide their mismanagement of the pandemic.

No, I'm saying if you're mother travelled their with a group of many others with the intention to purely incite the authorities it would be an offence.

The intelligence prior to the day and observations at the time would likely suggest this was the case. It wasn't a simple, innocent stroll around by two people.

I don't doubt there is a new strain but the R rate is supposed to be substantially higher and its not at all. Infact the drop is extremely similar to the first lockdown with less compliance to the lockdown and a much more spreadable strain?

It might be slightly more common now but in December when the cases risen significant it accounted for 5% of cases. It certainly isn't the cause for the rise in the Liverpool City Region.

Isn't there supposed to be evidence that the strain infected people in an Australian quarantine hotel via the air conditioning?

I havnt a clue.

But yesterday folk were posting that the numbers in Liverpool were absolutely nuts, but in the SE they were down, or stable.

Yes thats the point I'm making. The area with the really spreadable version has an extremely low R rate.

Hasn't there been a dramatic increase in cases in the UK and Ireland recently that they're putting down to the variant?
