A curfew is currently operating here in France. 6pm to 6am. Many reason for going out exist but you have to carry a self certification for the reason.
Police and gendarmerie DO stop and carry out checks.
No problem in my village though, they're all in bed by 9pm.
Also masks to be worn all times outdoors in streets, transport etc.
Yes I understand what people say. Didn't they have a curfew earlier in the year in France. Is the curfew working in the bigger cities and the council estates around the big cities. Just don't think it's the way to go here. Lockdown for a month or two I'm fine with while we roll out the vaccine.

Well China with its severe lockdown has practically eradicated it and the pictures and videos from Wuhan for its new year celebration are a lot different to ours.

The initial severe lockdown worked and will be better for the economy while we plod along in stupid tiers dragging this out for another 4 months.
Most of the countries around china,. Like Thailand, Vietnam have controlled the virus very well in the main. Probably because they have recent experience of other viruses. One of the things that has to come out at the end of all this is we as a country need to have proper measures in place and spend money for the next virus. But we always seem to do everything on the cheap.

'Tougher restrictions' coming.

So they'll just shut shops and gyms, I guess. Maybe stop places opening for t/o - though they're all operating as safely as they ever will anyway.

Nuts.

Then turn around and get back on the plane love. Simple.

Absolutely hate the amount of dildos on Twitter swanning round the globe and then being all ‘well this isn’t very good at all.’ Stay where you are, stfu. We know it’s crap, thanks for the input.
Yeah, shud jus b thankful a Johnson govmt managed to get something up on a monitor to save the economy.

I think the amount that unis demand off students is atrocious. But I don't know who that's down to. Wasn't it Blair's government that raised the tuition fees (and they've obviously not been changed since)?

I didn't go to uni because I didn't need to. But I was also put off by the fact that when I went to sixth-form, in ,my first week it was all about pushing us to make our minds up on uni. Seemed daft to me, and loads of people only go because they don't have an idea of what else they should do.

Again though, I don't know if that's down to the unis themselves or government policy.
Blair raised it to £3000. Cameron supported by the lib Dems raised it to £9000. Think it goes up by inflation every year as well. So more than £9000 now. This is in England anyway

I don't know why she was allowed to travel in the first place.

There should literally be no air transit other than essential/medical needs.

No holidays. No trips home to see family.

Not being funny, but she's contributing to the issue.

You nearly had it and all.

Dithering Boris at it again killing thousands while dithering on decisions, This country is kin garbage.
