Sounds foreign to me that......

The plus side of all this though is the reality that we can’t really trust our European neighbours when something goes wrong, so best to develop links elsewhere around the world or become more self sufficient......

Missus just got back from Tesco by us, no problems at all.

Expensive and terribly crowded during the summer months; that's the PO; try a bit further north and inland, the Aude, wild beautiful Cathar country.

We had our shopping delivered today.
All Christmas Veg etc was fine.
Even got someone else’s turkey by accident, which will taste nice.

What big shop is it ?

Missus just got back from Tesco by us, no problems at all.

It was seasonally, a bit busier. But still SD/masks and as far as I could tell, no gaps on the shelves.

My local Sainsburys do have some gaps, but I am convinced their distribution/stock control isnt as good as Tescos, cos they regularly run short of stuff all year round.

Last day of 20% staff discount for Tesco staff so I can understand if they have all stocked up as well today and some stock levels lighter than usual.

Just a bit of good news I saw on look north. Liverpool docks never been so busy. 2 shipping companies have shifted their trade from Felixstowe to Liverpool in the last 2 weeks meaning an extra 70000 containers a year. 150 more jobs. More shipping companies looking to move from Felixstowe to Liverpool as the UK.looks to shift away from the EU to other trade in the rest of the world. Long way it continue!
