Just been to the nearby Aldi and not a bog roll, pint of milk or nappy to be seen. People are utterly insane but will justify it by saying that everyone else is doing the same....even though everyone else isn't doing that.

One of the benefits of the 3 grandkids coming along in just over two years is that I've ended up in the habit of buying a pack of wet-wipes pretty much everytime I go shopping so have unwittingly built up quite an inventory of them over the last few months.

I’ve noticed kitchen roll is usually available, just chop it in half to create bog roll surely?

It doesnt break down in the drains as easily apparently.

It must break down a lot easier than some of the deposits I've made in the past.

Our mini-supermarket had loads of loo rolls in this morning. They were rationing them to one pack per person. As I pointed out to the check-out guy, some pack's had 4 rolls in them and some had 12!

Genuinely confused about the testing procedure. I called this morning to tell them that the symptoms persist, so I had a swab and was told to wait for results. Shouldn't there be clearer guidelines for what to do in the meantime?

How was the swab done mate? Did you have to go to a location to have it? Were you not given instructions what to do next when the test was done? Did they tell you how long to wait before the results are through.

Sorry to barrage you with questions mate but not sure anybody else on here is going through the same process yet, and it could be really helpful for when we do.

I think all you can do is self isolate until the results come through. At least you'll know for certain whether or not you've been infected. Fingers crossed the tests are clear or that your symptoms don't get any worse. If you are relatively young and don't have any pre existing conditions you'll come through this relatively unscathed. If you do test positive, the main thing is to ensure you don't pass it on to anybody else whilst you're still infected.

I'd be inclined not to mate. It could block your drains and lead to your toilet backing up.
