@Neiler I've seen that study. Does bother me a bit that it leads you to the conclusion that airborne transmission is the biggest cause of transmission, when in reality it's unmasked exposure at close proximity, that is the primary method of transmission.

Good example to show how airborne spread happens though.

It does make the distinction between droplet and aerosol though.

Id nearly take it as a given at this stage that everyone is masking up, inside though at this stage. I think its a very seasonal in a reminder this winter ventilation is key its a really powerful but under utilised method of protection, its something i think we should be all conscious of in the winter however uncomfortable.

We got an instruction in work (health care) a month ago that in addition to wearing masks all the time (not just in patient contact) we now have to wear goggles - you almost forget about your eyes as a mode of transmission either by droplet or aerosol.

Do you think that these ‘false positives’ are a massive problem in the testing? Do you think cases of people testing positive for the virus when actually they’ve *had* it are massively over estimating the figures?

I doubt they're making a huge difference. I would have thought it would be a fairly low percentage.

That was the first lot. Present situation has a virus modification brought from Spain by those who couldn't do without their fortnight bash on the Costas.

Its bonkers the borders should be the first thing shut in a pandenic but we let every man and his dog travel in and out.

If the government had sense borders should be closed from next month and anyone who still wishes to come or go cool but dont expect to have a return flight anytime soon.
