They lost the people once they changed slogans.

People are dying due to inaction from the top again.

I liked his stance, but Burnham being allowed to dictate to the Government was a complete farce, but by then it was already too late.

France and Germany are locking down, meanwhile we sit idly by while 000s die weekly, just like we did in March.

I love Andy Burnham. But that stance was ill advised. He misjudged the Govts reaction and more people will die due to the weeks delay in going into tier 3

He dug a hole for himself and didn't want to backdown. I'd have more respect for the man had he taken a small victory

Well if you look at the areas that are currently in tier 2 and 3 lockdown, I would guess that the vast majority voted Labour and Remain

So not sure what point you are making tbh

Locking down fully in November and December would be catastrophic imo.

Tonnes of industries make more money in these 2 months than the other 10, and if you take that away, they are finished.

We need to find new ways of thinking. It can't be no restrictions whatsoever but it equally can't be full lockdown & everything closed. March was a long time ago and to still hear the same solutions is actually getting me a bit down. Where is the ingenuity or clever thinking.

We should have locked down in September.

All the clever thinking was used in awarding contracts to their mates.

But they kept telling people to socially distance throughout. A minority stopped and they took it home and passed it on to their family.

But it's not their fault. Ok
