Well what about the people that don't act responsibly/carefully? That's another path to follow.

I don't think anything thinks a lockdown eradicates a virus, Tim.
I know you're an emotional poster but you're not really making useful points now.
So we either stay totally locked down, or act responsibly/carefully?
Cos thats the choices to me.

I've heard it from various people who talk about eradication. Even experts on the radio. Lockdowns are about slowing spreads, and the virus will still be there after even a long period of hard lockdown.
You dusting off the deep fat fryer?

Suspect that, don’t fancy being met with pitchforks and torches...understandable perhaps from the point of view of those who live there..tbf, never come across any problems in N Wales in the many times I have visited (and that's a long time)I don’t think you’d be welcome there anyway mate.
Merseyside and Knowsley - Very High.
It's what I've been saying all along. Down here it's 14-16 year old school kids who congregate after school around McDonald's and KFC. Admittedly some do wear masks but there is no attempt at socially distancing themselves from each other or pedestrians.Really pains me to see such consternation between posters on here
We all have different views, and everybody's living and working conditions are different
Just get the feeling that if all of the British public took on some personal responsibility we'd get out of this - regardless of Government guidelines
The problem is that there is a sizeable proportion of the general population that are bonafide morons - and they're ruining it for all of us
