The tories whole policy seems to be restricting us until whenever a vaccine becomes available.

Yet Boris literally just refused to give a possible date for this and said we can't take one for granted.

This is why this whole policy of restriction or lockdown is completely mad. When is there going to be an end to all this?

But how can they give a date for a vaccine when they don't know? Whatever date he could have given today would just be giving false hope and ultimately what he gets bashed over the head with when it's not met.

I think you have to throw dildos at dartboards.
I think they’ve done that to decide what areas join Liverpool in lockdown. Cheshire East numbers have been going down after outbreaks at care homes made it look like it was skyrocketing. Now we all get to stay home for a month, possibly, not sure because no one knows anything.

None of us are getting stuck at home for a month haha - it's not a lockdown.

Cheshire East isn't in the highest tier is it?

Is this really surprising?

"Figures posted on the University of Nottingham’s website showed 1,510 of its students had been diagnosed with active cases of Covid-19 during the week ending last Friday, PA Media reports. The figures included 667 students in private accommodation, 523 others living in halls of residence and 310 in purpose-built student accommodation."

Not surprising at all - Young people are irresponsible knobheads

Restriction-lite, not a lockdown.

Betting offices, gyms and casinos shutting. That's it. Effectively.

Merseyside's hospitals have had their death warrants signed with the non-intervention today.

There should be a complete national lockdown. The only way of supressing this is by doing what was done in March-April. A decision has been made in goverment to sell us the illusion of a big intervention here but the reality is they restricted not much and they're sacrificing us to the virus.
