Well she is middle management, so is privvy to the decision making in her own department, who provide direct support and services for not only Covid affected patients, but also staff throughout the whole hospital too.

I`m not saying it " won`t " happen, I`m just saying that in her hospital it`s " not " happening at the mo.
...as far as she knows.

I do see how much effort you've made to row back there though, so well done.

Here's the upshot of today's news when stripped of all the nonsense: Merseyside is on fire with the virus, hospitals nearing a point of no return on handling a continuation with the rate of admissions, and you can still go the pub or a restaurant and get pissed...as long as you buy a plate of chips.

Thanks Messrs Johnson, Anderson and Rotheram. Your places in history are assured.

My mate went to get tested but there was a big queue so he had to leave to pick his kids up from school. Next day he gets a text from the NHS, you have tested positive !! He didn't have a test! Heard the same from a few other people since. Scandalous

Now doubt Serco involvement...

Well that's an enormous piss up happening Tuesday in Liverpool isn't it.

You`re probably too young to remember, but one of the ways pubs used to stay open late, particularly on a Sunday, was by charging you a quid for a plate of sausage and chips with your first pint and giving you a cloakroom ticket to prove the purchase.

That way if the Police turned up after hours, everyone could prove that they`d gone for a " meal " under what was called a " late night supper licence " rather than a stay behind.

I`m expecting more of the same tbh.

You really think that would work though? Like the police will know you're a boozer haha.

Also yes, I am too young thank you, you rascal.

Ah fudge this, I've kept myself in isolation since I returned from Lisbon last Monday. I CBA anymore and will be going out in a limited and specific way.

Isn't that attitude possibly the reason we're in the position we're in and why stricter restrictions are hitting the country?????

No. Portugal is far safer than the UK. I'd have been a far bigger risk had I gone to the local Whetherspoons last weekend instead of Lisbon.
