Shut those pubs and restaurants down. It's an utter scandal they still trade in these conditions.

Can't see how it will help, we would literally have to have go into full lock down, not going to happen... More dangerous going into the supermarket or queueing in Boots and others for hours for medications...

Wonder when we'll get a vaccine?

Went from end of this year to Spring 2021.

Dont think we'll have one until Autumn/winter 2021 imo and even then unless you're 60+ you wont be getting a sniff until 2022 I imagine.

I think for the people who knew what was happening it was always Spring 2021. The normal timeframe for testing it (as I understand, not an expert) is 18 months. The idea of fast tracking it beyond maybe a few months was never on, which puts us at the March 2021 range.

Yes it is. Reason why we don't vaccinate everyone for the flu.

But it is a coronavirus mate
The flu vaccine is not just for the vulnerable. In fact some of those considered vulnerable cannot take the flu vaccine.

Most countries governments each year offer it out to everyone and strongly encourages their entire population to get it. Of those that can.

I am thinking it's not made mandatory because there are those who cannot take it. For example infants, older people and those with certain conditions. It would probably roo much hassle to write laws and guides to make it mandatory.

Yeah, shut them down

Then in a month's time when daily cases are still the same - You might actually realise that it's happening in Schools and Universities
These are the real problem, kids don't care and students too really, living in cramped student flats...etc, school kids filling up buses, I no a few places around here that wont allow kids in school uniform in without facemasks on, local ASDA is one, which is right.

The kids do need to be in school though but they need to learn what to do.
