14 at various levels of phase 2 progression I think at the moment mate. Not all will make it to phase 3 of course.

A you say above, in terms of distribution it has that advantage of not needing to be frozen. It can be stored with ease in usual primary care settings.

The vaccine is the silver bullet of course. But something not often discussed or acknowledged in the media, is we are getting much better at treating this virus to, breakthroughs being made all the time, Dex was a huge shot in the arm, while the insights in the last week in the Casanova article on Bradykinin and possible treatments could be significant.

The case ratio to deaths has come down significantly from March/Aprial, there is really significant research and progressive practice in treating this daily, it’s a hugely commendable effort. You never hear anything about scrambling for ventilators now the way we did in March/April.

A combination of best practice in hygiene (wash hands as much as possible), face coverings, social distancing (even in 'low infection' periods), anti-virals, therapeutics and vaccines will get us there. We also should hope to see a mutation of the virus to something less lethal.
