It’s the final phase before a drug can be regulated and sold, there is a phase 4, a long term monitoring of the public after its received regulatory ascent.
So ultimately if a drug gets through phase 3 it can be regulated, sold and given to the public.
Its the biggest Phase 3 trial so far, only one dose as opposed to the others in phase 3 and doesn’t require to be frozen. So hugely ergonomic and convenient to distribute and administer.
