Can’t see it mate. Not every one has stockpiled.

They should maybe start enforcing the same procedures as at the start of lockdown that have all but ended by some accounts.
People are stupid though mate.
Today for example, I’m stood at front door talking footy to our security guard and a stereotypical Jack the lad walks in not wearing a mask.
Me “excuse me mate.. “
Him, shouts, “ I’m exempt from a mask for f’s sake ! “
Me “ I only wanted to tell you your walking in through the wrong door fella and it’s barriered off so you need to walk round !”

A localised lockdown/restricted guideline can work to stem the tide as shown in Aberdeen and other places recently

Turning it into a full on national lockdown would be an utter disaster, the government won’t be as willing to cover the furlough as they were in March and, speaking as someone who was very, very lucky to still have a job to go back to, you will see a lot more companies go to to wall or make massive redundancies in order to stay afloat

I dont believe you. And I say that with a heavy heart.

We have supported our local Indian during this, they stayed open for takeaways till they were allowed tables, and yeah, the Eat Out thing was a huge win for them, but they were miles down in takings.

"Never done more business" during a 6 month pandemic? Ok mate.
You're basically calling me a liar.

I'm giving you my word that was the conversation....

I think the issue is that obviously during the lockdown, business was non existent, however from my own discussions with food outlets, Davek is right in that for the period since re-opening, business has been through the roof. The eat out deal generated almost all of this, but it now seems to be continuing, albeit to a lesser degree....

Thank you.

I just checked for the whole of our district council. Over the whole of this epidemic we’ve had 67 deaths where Covid may have been involved since March...our latest stats are as follows...be honest, should I really be fearful ?.....
