I dont know much about politics ( or anything) but if corbyn was in charge do we think it would be well different?
In many ways I am glad Labour arnt in power for this Virus as if they had been they would have been slaughtered for it to an extent that as a party they would never recover.
As it is the Conservatives are taking a lot of stick but when it is all over it will be portrayed as a victory and all the blame will be put on everyone's else's door.

It solves nothing, as the virus is still there and the moment people go back out again, it all starts again.

It`s about managing things as best we can now.

It's about ninnies actually wearing masks, hand washing/sanitizing, and social distancing when things open up. Then we can manage/live with the virus.

Hopefully not, what with their use being linked to the elevated death rate.

The question is if any lockdown actually serves a useful purpose at this point. Restricting visitors to care homes/hospitals etc seems more like a prudent measure than lockdown for the general population. It does in some ways now need to be treated like two separate viruses.

Yes, but as has been proven with my gran, the employees of these places still interact outside the facility. If the rest of society doesn't also protect them (masks/distancing/etc in public) then the employees will bring it in to the facility.

So quiet the food places now, last night was dead everywhere

i went to two different ones obviously just because the Scheme has ended dosent mean i will stop serving my country and helping local buissness’s
The Cafe in work has extended until end of September.
Just had a cooked breakfast and paid £2.07 for it.
Even got an extra sausage ! Result.

I suppose it depends on how stretched the NHS gets.

I know I'm considered a bit negative, but honestly watching these tory rats does not fill me with any confidence at all.

But lockdown after lockdown is totally unsustainable for every single reason you can think of.
Would agree with that.

Nearly all expert advice was along the lines of test as much as possible and have a contract and trace system in place to give yourself the best chance of preventing lockdown without stretching medical services. There can be no doubt the UK has failed miserably in this regard, and hopefully people remember this next time they cast a vote based on wanting less brown people around.

Not good at all. See so many more people that ignore the rules than you did a few weeks back.

Go the Asda now and there’s no distancing, many not wearing masks. On top of that, there’s a whole host of COVID HOAX and COVID SCAM graffiti around the place now

Mad

I've been in the city maybe 3 times now since bars/restaurants opened back up, was around the Liverpool title weekend, would have struggled to pick 10 people who were sticking to the rules in the city.

One way to stop it happening: SHUT THEM DOWN.
