3 positive staff tests in my daughters home from tests they had done on Monday.

16 other staff still waiting for results.

Positive test rate still increasing, which considering loads cant get tests and the delay with results is a major concern, but thankfully the death rate is staying low.

Hospital figures - 8 deaths were announced today, 2 down on both yesterday and last Saturday. All 8 were in English hospitals, one down on yesterday and the same total as last week with 7 occurring in the past 10 days. The 7 day rolling average falls slightly to 8.43

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 9 deaths were announced today, up 3 on yesterday but down 3 on last Saturday. The 7 day rolling average falls slightly to 10.57

There has been no announced data as yet for the 60 day or legacy/no cut off

I have a few mates who own/run beer shops and bars and they aren't ordering perishables as they think there will be a furlough extension and pub restaurant closures in two weeks time.

I guess food/snacks mainly, obviously not a huge risk of they are wrong.

It's hard to know how much it will change when the weather turns. We've been to the pub with our baby a fair few times, but sitting outside and a lot of people I know are doing the same. Unless it's a pub with a lot of room, which most aren't.

Apparently the Tories have been hinting at possible closures, although I haven't noticed it. But I don't pay too much attention to most of it now.

I wouldn't be surprised if local restrictions are brought in within the Merseyside region within two weeks: cases per 100,000 for this week look to be rising quickly.

Hopefully there aren't, but it will need a big shift in direction over the coming days.

But there is. Nobody wants closures and even the current model isn't helping businesses and especially the hospitality sector, yet people need to show caution.
