....Liverpool cases have increased rapidly since 20th July. It’s still out there, don’t think it’s not.

It's too soon to tell, and it'll probably take a week or two to see if the local efforts round such as Princes Park are doing the trick, but, with a bit of luck, they've hopefully nipped it in the bud.

Data lag issues mean I'd likely ignore the data from the last couple of days

On a night out in Warrington and duck me when has it been fanny central down that way? Grade A ass everywhere oh I'll be tugging like a trooper tonight

100% will be 1.

I am not thinking another national lockdown though.

Oddly enough I have now been working at home for half a year. Not sure I have ever worked harder. It's a weird one - I'm not one of life's "do as I'm told" type people - but I've really followed the rules across the lockdown. If it happens again, I'll do so again.

We wont lockdown again and it will probably be more like a ripple than a wave.

I’ll look back on lockdown with fond memories. Reconnected with some friends and had a great time. My work productivity has plummeted however. Concentration span is shot to pieces

Agreed. Hopefully the days of us losing a thousand people a day are over.

I have to say I know of a couple of c-19 "survivors" and the damage for some of them is shocking. Even a basic work call for them sounds like they are at Base Camp.
One direct case I work with has had varying impact. The husband was hospitalised and ventilated and weeks later at home is breathless getting off the sofa for a wee.

The daughter wasn’t ill but lost sense of smell and taste. All food tastes horrible now but she stomachs Mac and Cheese. GP has admitted they have no idea how to treat it.

The Mum is now suffering panic attacks and poor mental health. Her anxiety convinces her she can’t get a deep breath.

The son, he’s fine. He enjoyed a school ski trip in Italy in February and has no ill effects at all.

How many times has De Piffle 'taken charge' now ? He's now going on holiday for two weeks.
