He lost 3 stone and boasts while people all over the place lost jobs and futures etc, hes a disgrace.

so he shouldn’t lose weight then ? Or if he does he shouldn’t encourage others to do the same ?

I can’t figure out why you’re angry at someone who is overweight making efforts to lose the weight , if he was saying “I’ve put 3 stone on“ I Might get why you’re so worked up . Otherwise it seems a bit irrational.

He shouldnt have ever been that fat. And then to boast of losing 3 stone cos of lockdown when we on,y locked down to protect fat waps like him is massively insulting to anyone who wasnt fat or sick and has consequently lost their job. He should be ashamed and apologising for ever being that fat.

Pies build immunity.

Public Health England have, for obvious reasons, chosen not to make the findings public, but a large study has shown a correlation between consuming larger than average amounts of pastry and what appears to be a natural immunity. Whether that correlation maps across to cause is something they're currently investigating.

None of the above is true

The lockdown was to protect the elderly primarily, not overweight people.

No, you’re incorrect here.

The lockdown was initiated to protect the vulnerable and primarily the elderly and weight was not identified as a primary driver in the governments decisions. Go back and read the dialogue from the time.

His actions eg. His inability to stop eating were his own cause of his own weight.

Like I said, his actions are irrelevant to whether or not you’re fat shaming him. Calling him a ‘fat wap’ is fat shaming.

The obese were I believe classed amongst the vulnerable. And with reason as the virus has finished plenty of the gluttonous slobs off.

It’s calculated using data on hospital admissions and infection rates and I think it’s roughly 2 weeks behind real time. More informed posters like @RAFUH, @LinekersLegs or @Neiler can answer that question better than me.

Personally, I’m all for listening to the Scientists and taking their advice as they are the experts.
R rate the experts give is likely nowhere near correct, the most important number in this whole pandemic is a number the experts are unable to give, the numbers on people with no symptoms, a factory in Ireland has been fully tested and 80 people have tested positive while the numbers of people with no symptoms has not been released the media are going from it being high to very high to extremely high, it's possible/likely that 70 had no or very very mild symptoms and would have even qualified for a test a few weeks ago, given that this is now our only complete data set from a given work place it's almost a guarantee that other work places have had the same thing happen in the past but weren't all tested which would mean that the R rate has been hugely underestimated, it would also mean that the death rate as a % is hugely overstated.

It’s a bit weird the way you’re clearly just seeking attention on here by being unnecessarily offensive.

Do you call people in wheelchairs or with spina bifida gluttonous slobs for being overweight or obese ? The disabled are more inclined to weight issues.
