he’s a complete rat who treated his workers like crap during this . If you can afford to drink anywhere else just go there . Now post lockdown your money is even more important than ever, If you choose to Go out give your money to people who skinted themselves to make sure their staff got paid not multi-millionaires who said they couldn’t afford it and advised them to work at Tesco to make up the short fall.

I have mates who work for weatherspoons.

They were all paid, and nobody was sacked.

Let people drink where they want without judgements.

Is a bit weird, that in a time of economic crisis people are moaning about others going to a chain of pubs which are normally significantly cheaper than independent places. Particularly in London.

She’s a good kid, not worth losing her job over idiots. Like I said though it’s a minority, the customers in general have taken to the changes really well
Yeah. The vast majority of people are behaving sensibly and following rules. As a society we can't let our response to this crisis be driven by the actions of a minority that don't really give a toss about anybody but themselves

On Sunday night I had a pint in Wetherspoon waiting for an Indian takeaway. Two San Miguel cost £6.20. Monday in an independent pub we had 2 pints of a similar quality Cornish lager £10.20

Most people are being sensible which is why shops, pubs etc are way down on normal takings.

Using the word 'most' when it's actually the minority, even if a sizeable minority is just hyperbole.

I dont think most people are to be honest. Im clear on what i meant to say, if you a have a different experience thats fine its an opinion forum after all.

There definitely has been a change in pscyhe, adherence to risk precautions and general feel of its great we got through that - certainly in Dublin, Ireland. Our R is starting to reflect that. We need to cop on over here in the main.

Gawd.

I wish I could afford to drink at places that are twice as expensive but unfortunately I have holidays to save up for.

The struggle is real.

If you can ignore the reasons they are cheap, crack on. The gammon faced Brexit scarecrow is a stain on the undergarments of humanity.

The facts don't back up your opinion though.

Can't really debate economic figures.
