Im pretty much middle ground - got a few meals booked over the coming weeks and a date night with my bff end of the month but not going on any pub crawls and will always wear a face mask when in the shops etc.

Funnily enough the MMA gym I train at obviously has been shut since the start of lockdown and as much as I have missed it I wont be going back for a while when it finally reopens. Normal gyms I think are risky but you aint rolling around a mat with multiple people I wouldn't take the risk.
MMA is just another name for WWF .... oiled up men rolling around on the floor

With the amount of drinking going on now, with Johnsons dad doing an runner to Greece, with cinemas open, there is now no choice but to get the gyms open. 4 months of mental and physical health forsaken. Theres no excuse for not opening gyms and swimming pools now.

They’ve opened public swimming pools in Ireland last week but due to social distancing there is no water in lanes 2,4 and 6

Anne Marie Plas the lady who organised the weekly clap for the NHS , and after the tenth week felt it was time to call it a day as she felt it was getting politicised Iturned up at no 10 today clapping with Boris .
Does that not strike anyone as hypocritical ?
Instead of clapping Boris maybe you should get them the right equipment and pay them properly rather than use them as a political tool to boost your own image.

Has he? How? UK citizens can’t travel to Greece, can they?

People seem to be handling this crisis via two extremes, one half locking themselves away and the other thinking they are immune to it.

Not so many in the middle ground. Being self employed with kids I’m trying my best to stay in that middle ground mentally whilst keeping a normal but cautious approach to daily life and work. Some people think it’s now ok to go for a pint or meet up and some don’t and that’s fine with me.

Think the key is trying to respect both opinions when you talk to and meet folk, all got their own problems and reasons for the way they are behaving and handling things, it’s now like we’ve been here before in our life times.

Things looking a little bit better and long may that continue...
I'm in the centre here mate and obviously you are too. There are at least another 10 posters on here the same.

But you are right, most posters in here do appear to have an extreme view one way or the other.

I prefer to think of them as the noisy minority and that the majority, for whatever reason, prefer to stay silent on the subject. Probably frightened to put their head above the parapet
