Hospital figures - 19 is the announced total, 28 down on yesterday and 2 down on last Sunday, 18 were in English hospitals, 21 down on yesterday and the exact same total as last Sunday with 15 occurring in the past 10 days

It’s a bit of the boy who cried wolf. If there’d been another wave after each time it had been decreeed there would be, we’d be up to about the 20,000th wave now.

The predictions do tend to come from Twitter, which given their record of deciding the last election was a waste of time cos Corbyn would walk it, we’d still be part of the EU and we would all go out and buy K-Pop albums; does tend to allow for some derision.
