The UK government seems to be addressing the issue a wee bit more vigorously. Too little to late, covering their own asses or appropriate managed staged response?
See the Queens fled as well. That's comforting. But hey ho if you're over 70 you get "voluntary" detention. Can you just die quietly and not cause too much of a fuss.
On a lighter note, reports out of France suggest that 50% of serious cases are under 50 years of age. Which echoes an earlier report from the US. So nothing to worry about there.
Speaking of the US, gun and ammo sales are skyrocketing, praise the Lord and pass the bullets indeed.
I read earlier that we are only three meals away from the breakdown of civilization, which might explain why toilet paper is in such short supply. You can't meet Armageddon with a dirty bottom after all.

Oh yes we are in fact doomed.
Although as society crumbles its laws and conventions will too.
Nobody will care about what qualifications you have, unless you can put it into practice.

People walking away from marriages, pieces of paper like marriage certificates will be worthless.
Get a castle and defend it well. Somewhere fairly high up if you can but if you can be surrounded and starved out it's no good. You need access to a tank of water or preferably fresh that you can distil.
Keep your place locked curtain drawn by day, don't let anyone see you come and go. You search for food and supplies at night.
You never just stop when you are out, if you have to pause then take some liquid on board.
Try and break into an old army and navy store but you'll have to be quick because it's going to be popular.
Gortex trousers and jacket. Good boots. Now you're getting somewhere. Rucksack, big enough to carry some kit and still stay mobile. Torch, matches, toothbrush, lots of socks, baby powder, water canteen.
Knife.
Break into the back door of the pharmacy. Unless you know alarms or get lucky with its electic supply you'll have to be quick.
The heavy opiates people would usually take will be locked away but you might get lucky with others.
Paracetamol, antibiotics,loperimide, bandages.. That will do..run...
