The UK government seems to be addressing the issue a wee bit more vigorously. Too little to late, covering their own asses or appropriate managed staged response?

See the Queens fled as well. That's comforting. But hey ho if you're over 70 you get "voluntary" detention. Can you just die quietly and not cause too much of a fuss.

On a lighter note, reports out of France suggest that 50% of serious cases are under 50 years of age. Which echoes an earlier report from the US. So nothing to worry about there.

Speaking of the US, gun and ammo sales are skyrocketing, praise the Lord and pass the bullets indeed.

I read earlier that we are only three meals away from the breakdown of civilization, which might explain why toilet paper is in such short supply. You can't meet Armageddon with a dirty bottom after all.

This is more serious than many are treating it. Not because of severity, or that it's untreatable, but because of limited resources to deal with it at scale.

Haha he's got to be fairly confident to make that claim surely?

Thanks kid. More worried about being unable to look after my two year old or my 73 year old mother in law if I'm honest, but seeing NYC as empty as it is at 4am on a weekday is really unnerving.

Yeah i bet, London is still normal so far. Well my little patch anyway but i know that's temporary.

No mate she's on the other side of Brooklyn, about 6 miles away. Father in Law died a few years ago (leukemia) and was a Vietnam vet and was smart and well prepared for all sorts. She's been lost without him. Biked over there the other day, she said she had loads of food - literally found cans from 2008, FFS.
