I find the aisles in Aldi and Lidl to be much narrower too, which doesn't help
Maybe the people that shop there are wider?

Ok
So why aren't people more angry about it?
Given this all started with Americans having an issue in America , why aren't more people angry that some people here are potentially the reason why they can't see their loved ones , or that they could potentially kill them? Why aren't more people angry that we could potentially enter a second lockdown if the virus has a second wave as a result?
I can't get my head around the fact people going the beach are labelled as potential murderers yet protestors are justified? The hypocrisy is unreal.

“‘People who menstruate’. I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?”
Did you?Did you pretend to be black while you wrote that.
I think it's because a lot of people worry about being branded racist, sexist, homophobic etc if they challenge certain groups within the community on their views or actions, no matter how valid their arguments. Some people then use this tactic to shut up any opposition.
JK Rowling has been getting abuse and classed as being transphobic for tweeting ...
In today's society you get classed as being transphobic for saying 'women menstruate', not really suprizing people are worried to say what they think.
This is what happens when you let the vocal minority on the far left try dictating what people should think.
Did you?
Even if people are shielding there is still a risk and particularly self isolating people (people have very different attitudes to risk!) still need to have some contact to shop, get medicines delivered etc.But most old people outside of care homes and who feel that way will be self isolating / shielding. They wont come into contact with anyone to contract the flu virus or any other transmissible disease.
Most definitely on the cards. Winter planning is starting to ramp up now. You’d hope that there is a really big “help yourself and the NHS, get your flu jab” messaging campaign planned for early autumn.
I see this trace and track app has fell right on its arse, as I said, if you give people in this country a choice they will always choose to ignore.
There are some legit privacy concerns with the app to be fair, with the centralised database (out of step with other countries).
