I really can’t get my head round the government not mandating face masks indoors to be honest. Even if it was just a cloth face covering or scarf.

It should be mandated indoors where social distancing is not possible. They have done this with public transport and I think you'll see it more often as we open up more

I think it is fair to say we have all learned a lot mate.

On a wider point, I think we need to pull back from our interaction with animals in general to mitigate these types of pandemics becoming more common place this century. We need to farm them less and begin restoring ecosystems.

Doesn’t work though.

Ive worn a face mask for weeks while doing the shopping, and I’d say 80% of people aren’t. Grinds my gears when you see a pair of 60 year olds doing the weekly shop with no mask.

It's the same down here but apart from the odd idiot most people are distancing and respectful of your space.

I'm fine with that but if there's lots of people encroaching on your space I fully get your concerns

There has definitely been a big cultural shift with people being aware of other's personal space.

Face Masks should be mandated in all enclosed indoor settings, where the public can gather.

No Mask = No Entry.

There won't be anywhere near the compliance levels required otherwise, expecting different on an "if you like" basis is just sheer stupidity.

Pain from my teeth would need to be enormous for me to go anywhere near a dentist.

I was a bit unsure but I was lucky to have the first appointment of the day. Plus I really trust them, its a private dentist so my wallet took a hit but from what I experienced there today, I would be happy to go again. Place is immaculate in a normal situation. People are escorted from place to place, so no awkward moments either. Was back to the old school with a scrape and polish, they couldnt use any of the power tools.

Had an ex that worked at an NHS dentist... from what I learnt from her time there, I would share your feelings even without a pandemic.

I'm up on the top balcony, rather exposed to a fair bit of wind, so the "well ventilated" part of the puzzle is definitely covered off!
