Just had an email from a pub I stay at in the Lakes, saying that they’re open for business from 4th July and asking if I want rooms ( I’d recently made an enquiry )

I’d say it’s back on lads ;)

they don’t know though , I mean I think everyone is confident but they’re taking a punt effectively because nobody has a clue although I think this 22nd June date looks a runner because it’s a Monday and can you imagine the carnage if the first day they open Is a Saturday? There is a reason boozers opening nights are for guests and never on a weekend.

It’s an isolated award winning country pub mate, that is only accessible by car etc.

They‘re obviously confident that they’re opening, as they brew their own ale on the premises and don’t stock any other beer apart from Guinness. So they must’ve started brewing again in readiness for the 4th July.

Plus they’ve gone into great detail as to what they’ve done in the pub - screens, removed tables, table service and the expansion of the beer garden, so if they’ve got it wrong it’s gonna cost them big time.

286 is the overall figure for the day, up 231 on yesterday but down 38 on last week, the lowest Tuesday figure with data lag without a bank holiday involved in 10 weeks

The 7 day rolling average continues to fall, down to 216.29 in all settings and 124.71 in hospitals.

Took Johnson and Williamson a while to realise they were not going to find Scientific evidence to get schools back, to basically act as a baby sitting services for our youngest... We wait in anticipation for the 2 metre rule to be debunked, maybe peerage might swing it...

'It wasn't us gov, honest, it was the scientists' as the Tories sent the elderly into death trap care homes. Blame the cliniciansas well, in good Johnson fashion.

Just been reading an article in the Telegraph, which I think has come from one of the Hong Kong Papers, stating that internet searches in China for respiratory related problems went through the roof from mid October onwards
Friend of mine has connections to Hong Kong. Said there are reports of some kind of military games event, kind of like the olympics for Chinese military, took place in October and it was alsready spreading then

June is too soon. The draught beer won’t be ready at the Brewers and I’m not opening a pub just to sell Lager and bottled beer for people sitting outside. Either we do it properly or not.....imo......

Yeah they had military from all over the world. China has already suggested that it must have been the Americans who brought it into the country.....
