June is too soon. The draught beer won’t be ready at the Brewers and I’m not opening a pub just to sell Lager and bottled beer for people sitting outside. Either we do it properly or not.....imo......

i think that’s fair I’d imagine especially for what I’d imagine is your clientele . I think people would certainly like a bit of a clue because for all the talk of bookings and cast iron dates everyone is working in the dark not just in dates but in what the expectations are going to be . I stand by the crux of my point though it should probably not be on a Saturday.

I feel the same way about going to the pub, until I can go to the bar, get the ale in and sit where I want then I’m going to wait

Absolutely, make it a Monday and give a pub time to get everything running again. Anyone who thinks you just throw a switch and it all happens hasn’t a clue....

Which is why I`m guessing that the pub sent me the email today - the brewery is part of the pub and they must`ve started brewing in anticipation.

Or they`re just selling bottled versions of their cask ? ( which they do as a matter of course )

So are things getting better or staying the same?

Averages are falling daily, the actual daily deaths are in double figures (meaning the 24 hour ones). It could all fall apart in the next month after shops and pubs reopen but for now it’s a good sign
