They are most impacted in the areas where they share a border with the states in the South, the North seems fine, Quebec and Ontario are the worst hit areas and share borders with badly hit US States.

I think it’s typical for Canadians to head South for breaks in the States and school hols after Christmas to escape the extreme winter there for a bit, skiing and the like. Canadas first case was on 25th of Jan.
