I ordered hair clippy things beards ago, got told it was lost in China, so ordered another one. Both arrived in the last few days ffs. So I gave one to Dad.

The one I used is actually a pet one. Hate Covid me. Look like an effing dog now.

I think the South West is actually North Somersets fault. They, well, we, had a weird spike in Weston General a week or so back, which was contained, but the infection rate is a few % points above the rest of the country. But the actual numbers of folk being infected is really really low.

Its like 1 moving to 2 is a 100% increase. And my evidence is the stuff like social distancing and Dont Be a Tit are still being observed.

This is what's happening: the Tories have determined that the price of furloughing workers is too great a burden on the system they really protect. They have accepted a plateau death toll for the next few months of 200-300 people being killed each day. They are sowing a whirlwind now in terms of opening up the economy that will be reaped at the back end of the summer / autumn with a massive second wave.

I always thought it'd happen in the absence of a humane ordering of society based on equality and a climate programme designed to save the planet. I thought it;d happen in a few decades, but its here now.

Didnt know the tips were even open ffs. Been a bit ashamed at the wine bottles in our recycling boxes for weeks!

We took a shedload of bottles, plastics and cardboard early this week. Queued up for half an hour, then they told us they were only taking garden rubbish when we got to the front of the queue. Wasn't best pleased. Told us to look at the website for information on what items we can take on what days. The website tells us absolutely f all.
