The Tories just can't help themselves can they?

This was an amazing bit from the article.

“I was in Seaview two weeks ago undertaking constituency work. Whilst there, I agreed to visit someone who wanted to discuss the app. He is a journalist and an acquaintance. When I arrived, I saw another couple of people there, which I was not expecting. I thought about leaving, but felt that was perhaps overreacting.

“I apologise because, on balance, I called this wrong. It would have better to have spoken to this person without any others nearby.”

His government was slating people off for meeting others, and tens of thousands fined for meeting others, and he felt it was an 'overraction' for meeting others if he left. One rule for them and one rule for the rest of us. He should be prosecuted as ten of thousands had been.

I've seen a copy of the Pleb Manifesto Roydo

Last Week - The tip
This week - Mcdonalds
15th June - Primark
22nd June - M & S
29th June - Sports Direct
6th June - Wetherspoons
I haven't braved The Tip yet.
I'd imagine that's horrific.

Matt Hancock doesn't know what he's talking about as usual. When answering about the R he said, 'the ONS was based on direct measuring rather than modelling'. He should really do his homework. Johnson announced that the lockdown had been eased - his 5 tests weren't met and the R number hadn't fell.

"In addition to this analysis, a more complex regression modelling approach confirms that there is a clear downward trend (Figure 2). The significance of this downward trend is shown by the credible intervals, as the lower credible interval in the first week of the study period is higher than the upper credible interval for the most recent week. This modelling is an exploratory analysis and was conducted by our research partners at the University of Oxford and the University of Manchester".

Figure 2: New modelling shows the downward trend in those testing positive for COVID-19 is statistically significant
Estimated percentage of the population in England testing positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) by week since the start of the study, 26 April 2020

Our research partners are considering the most appropriate way to publish further information on the methodology behind the modelling. Further information will be provided in due course.

The R rate going above 1 for the North West is definitely worrying, as the following graph demonstrates:

It's a very mixed bag in different areas. Which is where averages don't particularly help. There may be hotspots of infection rates in certain areas whereas the majority of a county might be 0.5. There are stats which give a breakdown by area across counties so it's known where they are. Managing them is a little trickier without a fully functioning test and trace.

I looked at Google maps earlier, and the only slow or stationary traffic in town was near the tip. As they are digging up as many roads as possible with the light traffic, I assumed they had temp traffic lights there. Obviously not.

They literally dont care.

They'll start "caring" again about normal everyday people following rules when the second spike hammers the nation.

They are a cynical bunch of crypto-fascists.
