After 3 months of this, one thing is abundantly clear: this government couldn't give a flying one how many people in this country die of Covid19.

I thing they do care as it doesn't make them look good, but if it comes to a straight choice between saving there own skins and saving people's lives well there is nothing down for oiks like you and me.

I suspect that's so they can invite their family from all over the country to stay and be taken care of by their niece.

I noticed my local had all their tables in the car park the other day, but as my mate is painting it at the moment, I assumed he was using the nice weather to give them all a make over. Possibly not!

Thanks for turning a blind eye to my £100 000 from the racing industry. No wonder there's a race to get the country open, can't cancel Royal Ascot. Not too hard to work out why Cheltenham wasn't cancelled.

I live in Barnet. But yeah, wilderness.

I went for a walk yesterday, through parkland and woods. It was easy to social distance.

All you do is slate people and spread horrible negative thoughts on here. Everybody is stupid or bad or a murderer. Nobody can act in a sensible way.

I just got back from another bike ride (again, 15 miler, face covered up and doing no one any harm).

Again I passed hundreds of people, most not social distancing, none - other than me - with face covering.

An utter scally nation full of scumbags who couldn't give a flying one about anyone but themselves. I'd literally rather live in any country in Europe other than this 'kin midden.

I think you are right to a certain degree. Some of the idiots from the cities cannot be trusted to do anything sensible, but you will just have to avoid them I’m afraid. However, there are parts of the country where people do behave sensibly, and they should be allowed to get back on with their lives. You cannot lock down those across the country who do the right thing because of the idiots in the city who don’t.......

I dont look down on people who are disciplined and do the right thing. I've stated umpteen times that (from my own experience) I see only a small minority who are doing the right thing now. Social distancing is for the birds. Face coverings are for johnny foreigner.

I repeat: these people are scum. If that's modern Britain I'd rather be German, Swiss, French, Dutch, Serbian, Czech etc etc etc

Social distancing is all but gone on the baleric islands, still some regs in place such as masks for waiters and shop attentdents etc, no mass gatherings or indoor bars/resturants. Apparently the ferries from barca and other heavily hit places open again next week which will give a big indication on how things will go.

Meanwhile Germany has dropped to below 10000 active cases which is a really heroic achievement given their position in europe
