However, long may Johnson and Cummings continue, nothing like some good old flagellation from the wonky eyed brigade... Never heard so much unhappiness from the blue rincers in my life, it's an absolute gift.

We all know Cummings has messed up big time, he has behaved like an idiot, and any other word you have to describe him.
The thing is though we don't know how vital he is to the overall fight against the virus, he must have some massive input for him to be not sacked immediately.
Someone, somewhere as to come up with answers to defeat the virus, if we knew that Cummings has something to offer in this, would it still make sense to sack him?
I believe he should be sacked, but I do know, I am blind(as most of us are) to what he actually adds to the fight against the pandemic.

....my understanding is that the members of the Liaison Committee are the chairs of the various cross-party Select Committees. They tend to hold the interviewees to account, so I doubt it will be stacked in the PMs favour.

Eggs you are making the mistake of thinking that is still the practice. It was, but today’s meeting is going to have 5 or 6 of the chairs attending, not them all. It’s taking place via Zoom or some such as well, which makes it even worse. There will be 2 or 3 Tories, one or two Lab and one SNP.

Even if he adds anything at all, what he is doing now is doing more damage than the good he or another 99 Cummingses could do.

He went to VE party of some sorts in the local community which had the Police at it as guests. Social distancing took place, still not the brightest of ideas in the current situation.

Kinnock sat in the front garden of his parents house, again not a great idea.

Neither was those standing on Westminster Bridge and not social distancing as the guidelines suggest.
