This has to be the end for Kuenssberg. She’s had scrapes before and received the benefit of the doubt. She can’t keep pushing her luck

Expect a backlash here, but she’s the secondary story.

She’s the head of political news at BBC, and has kept her job because she puts the government line out there.

Cameron started this when he threatened to shut the BBC down, and then suddenly BBC News became much more compliant, and she’s just the endgame of that.

Not condoning it, or her, but deal with Cummings first.

This is one of the cruelest things I’ve experienced professionally during the pandemic, it’s going to have long term complicated grief consequences.

In our place we’re letting one person in at end of life, full PPE with Covid and risk acknowledgement and their movements are restricted and managed.

If end of life without Covid, 2 at a time during restrictions, with masks.

It’s still horrible, there are many who know they have limited futures, who haven’t seen their family in two months, apart from facetime etc. It’s a real disenfranchising of the anticipatory grief process and enforced separation within a limited prognosis is going to create so many complex bereavements in the future. It’s not being there at the end its the weeks and months they will have missed together. It’s cruel And creating a raw pain.

I can logic it out in Restricting the spread of Covid, protecting the most vulnerable vs those who are being separated from someone they love for weeks and months when they may be the final ones. The human pain this has created we are only beginning to see now but, we will be seeing complex griefs well into the future.

Government seems more concerned about the career of that weirdo Cummings than the do about the lives of its subjects

Because he probably has a lot on them which he would 100% tell all in a book after. He has them around his finger and some of the Tories were stupid enough to bumble along with it.

She seems untouchable, she is a disgrace.
Why would any impartial journalist ever anonymously quote a government official in defence of the government?

There is a fundamental need to protect sources who are whistleblowing or who may be in danger should they be named, but I cannot understand what journalistic principle compels someone to shield a Government source who anonymously defends Government wrongdoing.

There’s countless examples of her bias, she literally had a complaint of bias against Corbyn upheld by BBC. Remember she tweeted that labour activists had punched Hancock? Remember she described that poor feller in the hospital who bollocked the PM as a “labour activist.” She is a rat
